March Brings SO Much Beautiful (and THANKS to TEACHERS)!

When it comes to seeing beautiful, one of the most wonderful parts of what we get to do is raise awareness for, and donate to, wonderful non-profit organizations. This month, we're changing things up just a wee bit in a beautiful way.

Instead of selecting a specific non-profit for the month, each week we will select two teachers from around the world, and make a donation to her/his classroom. On average, teachers spend $400 per year to stock their classrooms with supplies for students, but we personally know hundreds who spend much more than that to create a hands-on, engaging, exciting learning environments for young learners to grow within.  We see so much beautiful in those teachers who work so hard to empower children to create a more beautiful world built upon critical thinking, empowerment, confidence, love and social justice. Thank you teachers. Thank you so, so much.

How will See Beautiful support the teachers throughout the month?   Great question! Typically, we  donate 20% of every product  sale to our selected non-profit throughout the month; this month is different.

See Beautiful will donate $100 to 10 teachers ($1,000 total...teachers already did that math).  So, if you are a teacher, or know some great ones, please share this invitation!

Here's how to enter (NOTE: Teachers, we know you're incredibly busy, so we're keeping this as quick and easy as possible for you!):

1. Submit a comment* to us HERE on our website briefly explaining 1) how you see beautiful in your students and/or your teaching; 2) how the $100 could help you create more beautiful for your students; 3) leave us a contact email (using your school email address) that we can respond to to confirm your submission.

2. Submit a comment* to us HERE on our Facebook page briefly explaining 1) how you see beautiful in your students and/or your teaching; 2) how the $100 could help you create more beautiful for your students; 3) leave us a contact email (using your school email address) that we can respond to to confirm your submission.

*You only need to leave us one comment in either of these places.

Then what happens?

On Friday of each week we will compile entries from every teacher and share them as a blog post on our blog (your contact information will NOT be shared). Because it would be waaaayyyyy too difficult to judge the beautiful work of one teacher over another, we will use random.org to select two winning teachers each week. The final week of March we will select 4 winning teachers. The selected teachers will be notified of their win by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday via email and shared as winners on our See Beautiful facebook page. Each winner will receive a $100 check from See Beautiful to put toward their idea for creating more beautiful in his/her classroom.

  5. Teachers are so important! They never seem to get the credit they deserve for all that they do for our kids. I think what you are doing is a fantastic idea!
