The Beauty Love Left Behind

It isn't very pretty anymore. Some may even think it ugly. That's OK. It was your home. It's where I first grew to love you, where I lay my hand as I dreamed about who you were and who you would be. It held you until my arms could, and for that, I will always find something beautiful in it."
This is a beautiful post, AND may I add that these darlings also add stretch marks to your heart. With each new child (birth or acceptance through other means) comes along, I never thought there could be enough room in my heart to love another as much as the other or others, but thank God.... With each child, the extent of love just swells your heart to limits unknown, hence.... those sweet stretch marks on left on your heart.

ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. Thank you. My first pregnancy caused all sorts of stretch marks. That was over 2 years ago (and I've had another since then) and sometimes it's still hard to get used to and accept.

ReplyDeleteAlthough there were a few creams available he wouldn’t recommend any as he said they were unreliable as far as he knew and couldn’t guarantee that they would work. faraz
