It's so simple - the act of sharing a kind, loving message with others. See beautiful. You are loved. Thank you. Taking seconds out of our day, we can transform another person's completely. When we received the following two pictures it struck us how easy it is to offer another a smile by leaving a kind note from nature.
P.S., We're playing on these blog hops here, & here!

Fourteen-year-old, Miranda, carved 12 letters into the sand on a New Jersey shoreline without knowing the message would reach hundreds who check this blog. Unknowingly, she fostered an idea to pay it forward for others. Her message to "see beautiful" was kissed by the waves as their magnetic pull to the words themselves represents a metaphor for our human capacity, our human need, to see more beautiful in the world. Just as the waves have a continual, cosmic infatuation with the shore, we have a continual, cosmic need to see beautiful.
In the past few days, we have learned that Miranda is a young woman who lives life seeing beautiful and offering opportunities for others to do the same. As evidenced by her pictures, the thought comes quite naturally. This style of living must run in the family, as her grandmother, Sue Brady Karaso, sees and shares beautiful too. Thank you both for the way you have left us with an opportunity to pay it forward.
For all, as you go into the weekend, think about where you can leave a kind message to others in nature. Many of us don't live on the shore and can't write our kind messages in the sand. But we can leave our kind messages in leaves, or pebbles, or carvings, or pencils, or string, or dirt, or flowers. We can remind people to see beautiful where beautiful already lives.

ReplyDeleteYour blog today sends many messages, but always one running theme. We have the ability and desire to see beauty inwardly and all around us....AND to be an ambassador of ways to pay that forward.

I have always enjoyed the sound of the birds chirping, frogs croaking and the smell and sound of the rain dripping after a rainfall. It had been a long time and I wish I could hear those sounds again.
ReplyDeleteFor now, I am just content with my kids' laughter and their singing, but still hope that one day. we could all witness hearing mother' nature's
music together.
