See Beautiful in Snow

Oh, glorious snowflakes! These photos, snapped by the beautiful and always-inspiring Lindsay at Our View from Wien, reflect the greatest thing we have ever seen written in the snow. When she sent these pictures to us she wrote, "I was just walking along the street and had the urge to write See Beautiful on a car for other people to read as they walk by." And that, our dear friends, emulates the spirit of seeing beautiful. When you can see beautiful in a car covered in snow, chances are you're doing a lot more to make the world a better place (and we know for a fact she is).

This type of beautiful thinking is part of what makes See Beautiful a movement. Where can you share opportunities for others to see beautiful? Can you write your message in the snow on a car in a historic street in Vienna, Austria? Can you carve it into the sand on the Jersey shore? Can you etch it into a quickly-drying, newly-poured cement sidewalk? Or, can you simply place a smile on your face that sends a message for others to see beautiful as well? Just as the snowflakes that fall from the sky are unique in their own beautiful ways, so are the ways we can work to make the world more beautiful. Seeing beautiful might present itself in the form of a snowflake, or the shaking of a stranger's fingers wrapped around yours. In any form it presents itself, just see beautiful.

And with a special thanks to Lindsay, we included a picture that we knew would make her day.
P.S., We also linked up with Sar at Life of Love for her blog hop because she often features and shares lots of inspirational goodness!

  8. WOW... another message to the world to See Beautiful in your life. I try to imagine the faces of those that pass and read Lindsay's message. Must bring lots of smiles. I wonder.... what new ways (besides the sand), that people are going to be coming up with.... Can't wait to see the numerous ways people can spread the message... AND... love the pup in the snow. I know Lindsay was smiling.

  11. Ha! It's a good thing the car wasn't  alarmed!  Lovely message-- I'm going to leave an anonymous 'See Beautiful' somewhere.  and a 'feel hilarity' too-- that is my personal mantra-- there are just way too many serious people about considering how funny and absurd life is...

thanks for the follow-- happily returning it.
