We see beautiful on a regular basis, but this one made us laugh out loud. Over the weekend we overheard a conversation between a mother and her four-year-old daughter about being kissed by the sun. Please enjoy:
Mother: Oh, look at your tan. You were kissed by the sun today.
Daughter: What? Kissed by the sun?
Mother: Yeah, look at you. The sun kissed you all over.
Daughter. The sun did NOT kiss me. I didn't feel it.
Mother: But I can see it all over you. You're beautiful.
Daughter: Well, I didn't feel it and I like the sun. Okay, the sun can kiss me.
It made us think about all times we shield our eyes from the things that really "shine" around us. We hope you're kissed by the sun today and feel beautiful all over.
