Do you create a fairness zone in all you do? As you move through today, this weekend, and onward, think about how you might nurture a more beautiful world by honoring fairness and teaching others about it throughout your life and the way you live it.
This picture was captured along a path paralleling the Donaukanal, a canal that feeds into the Danube River in Vienna, Austria. Though we searched for the exact meaning of the Fairness Zone we couldn't find the exact purpose (which was cool with us because it's left up to our own interpretation). Side note: If you do know the purpose, let us know. We're interested.
Pay It Forward: Be Fair. See Beautiful.

I think it is the cities reminder to all who use the path to be "fair" MOM's friend says the path is very narrow in many places and it can be hazardous. Some of those those who use the path on a bike are a little upset because they feel they are targeted as the "problem" on the path and that they need to slow down. Others say it is the "fairness Zone" because graffiti is legal along this path.
ReplyDeleteAll I know is I like the idea of fairness. I know they say "life is not fair." But that doesn't mean we have to contribute to that notion.
that's amazing that that exists!!! I love that---how cool. I adore this concept...and will keep it in mind--gosh we could make something like this in our homes!
