Rocks are Beautiful (and can teach us)

"Study how water flows in a valley stream, smoothly and freely between the ROCKS. Also learn from holy books and wise people. Everything - even mountains, rivers, plants and trees - should be your teacher." ~ Morihei Ueshiba

What can you learn from these rocks, so thoughtfully and beautifully placed by our friends at Gospel of Goose?
Can you learn to slow down? Can you learn to see the beautiful intricacies of nature? Can you take a moment to find beauty in something too quickly dubbed "mundane"? Can you invite the mountains, rivers, plants, and trees to teach you how to see and create more beautiful in the world? Can you be a model for others? The answer to all of this is, of course, yes. You already make this world better by simply being in it.

Are you looking for a for a tangible reminder to see beautiful, or know someone who needs one? 1. Yep WE DO!!

  2. My daughter LOVES rocks. And I always remember as a child driving by a particular house where they had their last name spelled out in rocks on their bark mulch.

Also about the comment you left for me regarding the "stained glass" letter diy I posted today ~ I can't believe Anthropologie has a similar one for lots of $$$! Geez I'm off to check that out right now!

  6. Yes! Rocks ARE beautiful and CAN teach us. I collect rocks myself, and have a little
treasure chest full of them to remind me of different people I’ve known and
cherished, concepts like “beauty” or “inspiration” or “creativity.” Hugs and blessings!

  7. my kids used to sell rocks for 5cents a piece...a real bargain!
