Using Less Can Mean More

When Allison Morris, who created the image below for Online Education.net, reached out to us we were honored that she shared our enthusiasm for creating more beautiful in the world. Allison came across this post where we talked about the importance of recycling and ditching our dependency on plastic. Through her own research, Allison's created a powerful visual that highlights staggering statistics to help us understand just how important the decisions we make are to the world. In this case, thinking about how to shift from the plastic nightmares to eco-friendly dreams.

  1. We love this! MOM and I are big on recycling. She was just thinking yesterday as she rolled the recycle can to the curb... Since October she has taken the recycle can to the curb 4 times. Since October he has has not taken the "regular" trash can to the curb because it is only 1/2 full. We love to recycle, it is beautiful and it creates beautiful.

  2. Great infographic. We recycle in our family and even have two big bins in our kitchen for plastics/glass and papers. But our recycling facility recently announced they won't be recycling batteries anymore...something about how new research has shown they don't really leak/harm the environment. I don't understand that, but they won't accept our batteries anymore. :(

  3. Great post today! Sorry it's been a while, I hope you had a great Christmas. I got really sick around Christmas and had Gallbladder surgery two days before. I haven't been doing a very good job at staying in touch with my blogs the last few weeks. Your blog is so inspiring and it really fuels me to make a difference.
