A special thank you to two expert See Beautifulers, Pastor Michelle Perry & Goose, for sharing this inspiring quote along with a beautiful photo they snapped capturing a stunning landscape scene in Utah. Upon reading the quote, we thought perhaps thinking like a tree is just the ticket. It's certainly a way for all of us to see a little more beautiful in every day. Today, we hope you think like a tree.
"Soak up the sun, affirm life's magic. Be graceful in the wind, stand tall after a storm. Feel refreshed after it rains, grow strong without notice. Be prepared for each season, provide shelter to strangers. Hang tough through a cold spell, emerge renewed at the first signs of Spring. Stay deeply rooted while reaching for the sky. Be still long enough to hear your own leaves rustling." ~ Karen Shragg, Think Like a Tree

Goose - my pups agree.
ReplyDeleteAs I look out into my backyard, I see trees sheltering all her/his friends. I am thankful for that, as well as all it does for us. As for thinking like a tree, never gave it a thought, but what a great way to think of life. It is about time to "emerge renewed". Thank you for continuing to offer us ways to See Beautiful.
