Gift From the Sea

Gift From the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Picture Using seashells as a metaphor for life, Anne Morrow Lindbergh invites us to see and create more beautiful in our lives and  the lives of loved ones around us. Her gentle, warm, relaxing writing craft invites readers to settle in with a cup of tea or glass of wine and unwind. It is a beautiful book to honor the ways a person transforms as a mother. We've chosen to feature it this month in honor of Mother's Day. Lindbergh reminds us to honor the creative capital we all have while taking moments to appreciate the beauty and intricacy of life.

While published in 1955, this classic remains as constant as the waves gravitational pull to the shore. Honoring the way love transforms and relationships grow through a lifetime, it's a book to savor and reread when you need a little see beautiful pick-me-up.

We also share it as a thank you to mom's for all you give of yourselves to make your children's lives a smooth as ocean breezes and as warm as sunny, summer mornings.
