While turning 16, 18, and 21 are regarded as "big" milestones in the United States (25 in some cases so you can rent a car), we believe the other numbers may not mean as much. If you didn't know how old you are, how old would you be? We love the ability to see a lot of beautiful using this mindset.
Happy seeing beautiful!

Great question! In my mind, I'm 12. Old enough to begin to taste independence, young enough not to get "caught up" in sexual games. (Although these days I wonder.) Or maybe it's only because I remember how free I felt at age 12--free in the neighborhood of equality and living life "in the moment"--not unlike a puppy. On the other hand, sometimes I feel like an "old" soul, not sweating the small stuff.
ReplyDeleteOh I am 3 for sure. MOM says I am 12 but I think she got her calculations a little off. I think MOM is in her late 20's. She just laughed when I said that. I'm not sure what's so funny, but as long as she is happy.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
A heck of a LOT younger than the year count suggest. :)
ReplyDeleteSince I tend to forget how old I am, much to my families amazement, I can be any age I need to at the time! My ideal age? 25 just so I can do anything!
ReplyDeleteHa! We love this. Thanks so much for this thoughtful comment! Happy seeing beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWish you could hear us cheering out loud with so much affirmation and love!
ReplyDeleteExactly, Goose! It's hard to count as adults sometimes. Our counting scales are so human anyway. I bet the way you count is brilliant! Happy seeing beautful!
ReplyDeleteOH, LOVE this! What a wonderful way to think about our past and what we'd like to take from it and infuse into our daily lives. This is a beautiful reflection! Happy seeing beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really don't think age...I think LIFE!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteSo timely because my birthday is next week. I am a lot older than I look and feel. I probably look and feel about ten years younger!
ReplyDeleteI am four. Yeah......I am four and I have been happy with every age so far. Ah to be a dog.
