We'd like to share an official thank you to Gypsy Ju who introduced us to Oscar and the opportunity to celebrate Oscar's Gotcha Day - a day for celebrating and educating. Oscar's Law is the first ever See Beautiful's Law of the month and we are proud to support them!
Today marks the one year anniversary of Oscar's rescue, and a one year mission to have Oscar's Law to break the puppy trade passed in Australia. It is so beautiful that we'd like to have the law passed around the world to end the inhumane and unnecessary treatment of sweet puppies in "puppy factories" around the world.
While we see so, so, so much beautiful in the rescue of perfect Oscar, we also hope this is a reminder to continue working to change the climate of the hideous puppy trade. Today you can help be part of the solution and that is such a beautiful thing.
P.S., If you live in Australia you might also consider purchasing a limited edition bottle of wine celebrating Oscar's "Gotcha Day" from the incredible people at Goodwill Wines (check out how they see so much beautiful by giving HERE). Sidenote: We've checked to see if they send wine outside of Australia. If so, we'll be cheers-ing with some of you soon.

Oscar is a cuttie and I am glad he has a happy home now. But there are so many more of my furry friends who suffer daily from the ugly of those who should be caring for them. I can't understand why this is not illegal with sever punishment for those who cause my brother's and sister's to suffer. The law of love should rule not the law of profit. I do believe that God's calls for humans to be caretakers of all creation not destroyers. My MOM and I are supporters and advocates for the loving treatment of my friends. Sorry to get on my soap box, but this is an issue that is close to my MOM's heart (and mine) for in the past she has had two dogs that she rescued from the hands of the evil ones only to have one of them, Lilli, die in her arms from the injuries she had suffered for years. Thank you for bringing this to light Miss Lydia.

This is such a great cause and I'm so glad to hear that something is finally being done to stop these poor puppies from being treated so horribly. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great Law of the Month. Thanks for promoting such good causes!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words - I'm so glad I found you yesterday via Twitter. I think its wonderful that you have shared our Aussie Oscar - it is such a great cause. These puppy mills should be banned and those responsible for the neglect of these poor loving animals should be punished more than the full extent of the current laws.
