July Brings SO Much Beautiful (and choosing the right "Path")

See Beautiful is thrilled to name (drum roll, please!) The Path Project as our Non-Profit of the month!

When it comes to seeing beautiful, one of the most wonderful parts of what we get to do is raise awareness for, and donate to, wonderful non-profit organizations. This month's non-profit leaves us seeing beautiful and feeling inspired in so many ways!
Why The Path Project?
The passion for the children supported by The Path Project is evident by spending just a few minutes on their website. Speak with co-founder, Melinda Hollandsworth for a few minutes and you feel even more passion and commitment to create more beautiful in the lives of those they serve at their trailer park communities. The Path Project "is a community outreach program that exists in trailer park communities which are home to majority first and second generation immigrants. The Path Project started in The Gwinnett Estates Mobile Home Park in Loganville, GA as an outreach ministry of Graystone Church. It has grown into an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving children and families in several trailer park communities." The Path Project reflects four important tenants for us: 1) empowerment; 2) care; 3) kindness; and 4) love. When you combine these four tenants with the passion and commitment of The Path Project community, there is so much beauty to be seen and so much beauty being created for many families!

How does The Path Project see & create more beautiful? While this list is by no means exhaustive, here are a few of the incredible things The Path Project is doing to empower others. They:
  • Host summer camps for the children and teens living in their trailer park communities;
  • Provide mentorship for children and teens;
  • Support education opportunities by providing tutoring and after-school programs to children and teens;
  • Offer English language courses for adults;
  • Host Bible Camps during the summer;
  • Invite school administrators to meet with the families to celebrate academic success;
  • Plan to expand The Path Project to other trailer park communities to further empower families.

How will See Beautiful support The Path Project?   Great question! See Beautiful™ will donate 20% of every product SALE (not proceeds, but the ENTIRE SALE) to The Path Project throughout the month!
