Yep, It's Dust, People. And It is Beautiful.

We're so happy to add the newest "See Beautiful in the world" picture from an extraordinarily beautiful woman, Jennifer Criss. She is an incredibly inspiring woman who spent years and years teaching so many what beauty could look like in the world. She continues this walk every single day.

And yes, you're right, it's "See Beautiful" written in dust. We love it. We might even go on a dust search in our own homes to leave a little message to fellow dust bunnies. It's doubtful we'll have to look very long.

This picture also reminded us of a post we published when we first started See Beautiful. It was too perfect not to share again:

"I collect dust..."(Originally published by Us HERE)

In response to the survey question, "What sorts of things do you collect?," one beautiful woman wrote, "I collect dust." She was referring to the busyness of life impeding her ability to keep up with dusting that top shelf in her living room.

We get it. Life is busy. Life is also beautiful.

Is it possible that a thin layer of dust every now and then might serve as a friendly reminder that we have better things to do with our lives than dust?

Thought: Perhaps those dust bunnies peeking out at you from behind the television aren't mocking you, but celebrating the fact that you're busy enjoying life. So, the next time you see dust collecting in crevasses of your home, you might just smile as you retrieve your trusty ole' feather duster. It means you're a dust collector.

And being a dust collector means you see beautiful.

  1. I love love this perspective and will be seeing my dust in a more beautiful light.  Well, I don't really see my dust to begin with but know its there by the feel and will feel and think of it differently.

Well, now I feel so much better about it when you put it that way, LOL! :)

  3. We have to get a little smile out of each day however we can. AND Yes, I also love to chase "little dust puppies" around the floor with my swifter. A little dust, a little (maybe a tad more than a little) dog hair here and there, means we have made time for seeing the beauty in our lives. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a beautifully clean house, and it does occur periodically, but I would much rather be playing fetch with the dog hair producer, talking to my girls on the computer or the phone, watching the backyard birds flutter about, volunteering, reading a good book, on and on. So the choice of my seeing the beauty of the day.... is options... and go for the heart warming ones. The others will be there for you to See Beautiful in later.

  6.  You're inspiring and we certainly see eye to eye! I like things to be clean, don't get me wrong, but if we had to choose between playing with our sweet puppies or dusting, well, let's just say the dust bunnies will have more time to play by themselves. Happy seeing beautiful!

  7.  Oh, goodie! We're not endorsing horrific dust collecting, but a thin layer behind books on a bookshelf every now and then really does leave us seeing beautiful now. :)

  12. Do dust bunnies count too?  Note to MOM, it's OK if you don't dust weekly.  Better we go out and hike or stay in and watch TV than worry about dusting.  And if any of those dust bunnies come out I'll get them for ya.  Thanks for the inspiration.
    Blessings,
    Goose
