Pay It Forward: Share and Hop

As the second Friday of every month is always our Seeing Beautiful blog hop, if you're a blogger, pay it forward by linking up, finding an inspiring blog, and connecting with others who are sharing some incredibly inspiring, beautiful writing. Hop around! It only invites more kindness!

A second way to pay it forward on this second Friday of the month is by sharing books. Those great books sitting on the dusty bookshelves in your home like to be held. That's right, share them. We often see the spine of a book calling us, inviting us to share it with a friend or co-worker. Look for a book that inspired you and think about a special friend who might need inspiration. Think of a book that made you laugh and give to a friend who might need one. A book offering confidence? Who might you share it with. A book with a strong female heroine? Know someone who could benefit. Paying it forward by sharing what you've already got (that's simply collecting dust) invites another to escape this world in the pages of your book. Ah, now that's beautiful. We're looking now at the titles in front of us and connecting authors with friends.

Happy paying it forward and seeing beautiful!

  2. I love the idea of a community drop box. They have one in South Knoxville. It is quite cool.... It is weather protected, people just put a book in and take another out or just do one or the other.

  3. We just recently gave some books to a local community center. It was great feeling as these books were not being used and just collecting dust. Happy {This Moment} See Beautiful. Lots of Golden LOVE n Woofs, Sugar

  4. My daughter just started first grade and the teacher suggested that instead of cupcakes, treats, etc. that each child bring in their favorite book on their birthday - share it with the class and then leave it as a gift for the class and future classes. I thought this was such a wonderful idea!
